The proprietary polyurethane formula that we use for all of our armor has a shore hardness rating of 80D. Additionally it has the same rating on the A scale as well. This means our material is nearly indestructible when being hit with blunted weapons. Video coming soon to our YouTube channel!

YES! 

The Gauntlets can withstand even the hardest of blows from steel. We do not endorse using our armor in very heavy combat like HMB/UMFC/Burhurt. However, we fully endorse used in HEMA, SCA and all other forms of weapon based combat. 

Yes! 

We install a 1/4 inch neoprene foam padding inside of each gauntlet for maximum impact resistance. This will keep your fingers and hands nice and protected while in combat.
